Linen curtains are incredibly versatile and can be used on their own or layered with other window treatments such as blinds or hung on a double track with blockout curtains behind. Our European Flax Linen is natural and sustainable - cultivated without artificial irrigation and is GMO free. Nearly all flax linen has some ability to inhibit bacterial growth and is naturally moisture wicking. Includes 2x Pencil Pleat Curtains Each curtain measures as follows, ungathered (width x drop): W280 x D250cm (to fit a track 2.8-3.7m) Please note these curtains are designed for a relaxed look, with additional length up to 18cm. The fullness of a pencil pleat curtain will vary depending on the amount of gather you create with the pull cords. Secure cords or chains with cord guides or keep them out of reach by winding them around a cleat. Move cots and furniture away from window covering cords or chains. Installation Pencil pleat curtains require hooks to attach the curtains to the curtain track. Hooks are widely available in haberdashery stores. First, gather the curtains to the required window width by pulling the cords on the curtain tape. To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, the corded internal window covering must be installed in such a way that a loose cord cannot form a loop 220mm or longer at a height of less than 1600mm above floor level. After pulling the cords and tying the cord YOU MUST cut the excess cord and dispose of it appropriately. Then, simply attach the hooks to the header tape on the curtains. We recommend spacing every 4th pouch. Finally, attach your curtains to the track by attaching the hooks to the eyelets on the track.
